Job summary

Biamp in Beaverton, OR is seeking an IT Support Technician I to deliver first-tier support for desktop and mobile infrastructure. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software, handle account setup and password resets, and document resolutions for future reference.

Under supervision, you will work with Microsoft 365 applications, maintain equipment inventories, and assist in minor projects. A+ certification is preferred and on-site work in Beaverton, OR is required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in an IT support role or similar experience.
• Associates degree preferred; related field acceptable.
• Solid understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to explain tech to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Resolve user inquiries and provide first-tier support via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Perform hardware/software troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Manage account setups, password resets, and access controls.
• Escalate complex issues with proper documentation to higher tiers.
• Install software and updates on end-user devices.
