Job summary

Delaware Park Casino Racing on site in Delaware seeks an IT Support Specialist to respond to service requests, troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues, and escalate where needed. You will support desktops, laptops, peripherals, and end-user technology.

You will document actions in the ticketing system, set up and deploy technology for new users, perform routine backups, maintain equipment inventory, and uphold company policies while communicating professionally.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience.
• Working knowledge of hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and support multiple systems and applications.
• Background check and licensing as required by Delaware Lottery.

Responsibilities

• Responds to IT service requests and support calls, troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues, or escalating them to the appropriate IT personnel.
• Provides support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other end-user technology, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Handles routine user account administration, including account setup, access changes, and password resets.
• Installs and supports standard software and applications.
• Documents service requests, troubleshooting performed, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
• Sets up and deploys technology for new and existing users.
• Performs routine operational and system support tasks, including reports, backups, and troubleshooting as required.
• Maintains IT equipment and asset inventory.
• Communicates effectively and professionally.
• Follows Company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
