Job summary

Sigma Information Group, Inc. seeks an onsite IT Support Technician contractor to serve as the in-person technology resource at one client site in Yardley, PA.

You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, hardware/software support, and day-to-day technical assistance to end users, including executives, with guidance from our remote help desk and senior engineers. The role targets candidates with 3+ years in IT support who are ready for a client-facing position and ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support, helpdesk, or desktop support experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with non-technical end users and executives.
• Working knowledge of Windows OS environments; iOS for Apple devices.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 (e.g., password resets, account setup, license assignment).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting).
• Ability to lift/move IT equipment up to 50 lbs and work in server/closet spaces.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
• Provide discreet support to executives and senior leaders, including prioritized handling of their issues.
• Set up, configure, and deploy workstations, laptops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding IT logistics (equipment provisioning, account setup, deprovisioning).
• Perform initial troubleshooting of network connectivity issues and escalate as needed.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper records in asset management system.
• Coordinate with remote NOC/helpdesk on ticket status and escalations.
• Support AV/conference room technology for meetings and events.
