Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas in Milan, Tennessee is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide end-user support for 33+ locations across North America. You will diagnose issues, configure devices, and assist with purchases in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to train users. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within the ASSA ABLOY Group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a service desk or hands-on technical support environment.
• Experience providing technical support in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong experience with Microsoft operating systems and Office products.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, software deployment, VPNs, and basic IT networking.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of all business systems software/hardware, including end-user devices and accounts.
• Diagnose hardware/software faults and resolve problems via phone or in person.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system and keep users updated.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule workload and projects.
• Assist with purchasing, device setup, and inventory management.
• Conduct ad-hoc end-user trainings on hardware/software usage.
• Maintain professional interface between IT and customers through clear communications.
• Participate in on-call rotations and take action to resolve issues.
