Job summary

ASSA ABLOY’s Milan, TN location seeks an IT Support Technician to deliver end-user technical support across ~2400 users in 33+ sites. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networks, and peripherals, while maintaining ticketing records and collaborating across teams.

The role requires 5+ years in a support environment, strong MS OS/Office skills, and the ability to train end users. Onsite, non-exempt, with benefits and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years in service desk or hands-on technical support.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong MS Windows/Office experience; hardware/software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of all business system software and hardware.
• Diagnose hardware/software faults and resolve issues via phone or in person.
• Document incidents and resolutions in ticketing system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage workload and projects.
• Assist with device purchasing, configuration, and inventory management.
• Provide end-user training on hardware/software usage.
• Act as IT interface with customers and support data/security processes.
• On-call responsibilities as needed.
