Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an IT Support Technician for on-site work in Milan, Tennessee. The role supports ~2400 users across 33+ locations in North America, handling issues with Windows/Office, AD, VPN, Citrix, CAD, PDF tools, and more.

You will troubleshoot hardware/software, manage tickets, train users, assist with inventory, and participate in on-call rotations. Strong communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a service desk or hands-on technical support environment
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft OS and Office products
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, peripherals, networks, printers, VPNs, Citrix, CAD and PDF apps
• Knowledge of Active Directory, software deployment, video conferencing and telecommunications solutions
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and decision‑making skills

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support of all business system software and hardware
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults via phone or in person
• Log incidents in the ticketing system and keep users updated
• Collaborate with stakeholders to plan daily workload and projects
• Assist with inventory management and device configuration/installation
• Provide ad-hoc end-user training for hardware/software
• Maintain professional interface between IT and customers via email/phone/in person
• Support on-call rotation and participate in remediation efforts
