Job summary

Xperteks seeks a seasoned Deskside IT Support Engineer to deliver hands-on, on-site macOS support at a premier client location in New York. You will join our MSP but operate 100% on-site, acting as the trusted face of IT for executives and staff.

Responsibilities include macOS/iOS troubleshooting, hardware repairs, MDM management with Addigy, and collaboration with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and VPNs. Strong communication and professional presence are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a deskside or desktop engineering role, ideally MSP or corporate
• Advanced macOS and iOS troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience with Addigy or similar MDM for Apple devices
• Experience using Autotask for tickets and ITGlue for documentation is a plus
• Excellent customer service and professional presence

Responsibilities

• Provide elite, face-to-face deskside support for local executives and staff
• Troubleshoot, configure, and deploy MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads
• Handle local hardware repairs, data migrations, and software installations
• Utilize Addigy to manage macOS endpoints (patch, configure, secure)
• Maintain accurate documentation and track daily tasks
• Assist users with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and VPNs on macOS
• Deliver VIP support to C-suite executives and VIP users
• Serve as the on-site liaison between client staff and MSP service desk
