Job summary

Virtual Service Operations is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join our Reston, VA team. You will provide End User Support and VIP Support, and act as the on-site primary IT presence.

The role requires 4+ years of deskside experience, strong Mac expertise, JAMF proficiency, and the ability to work onsite five days a week in a fast-paced environment supporting a mix of Mac and Windows endpoints.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on deskside or end-user IT support experience.
• Strong Mac support with macOS troubleshooting and peripherals.
• Experience with JAMF for Apple device management.
• On-site work in Reston, VA five days a week.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 endpoints in a mixed Mac/Windows environment.
• Break/fix support for laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors and peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity.
• Resolve Microsoft 365 access and Outlook/Teams issues.
• Support Zoom and other conferencing tools.
• Assist onboarding/offboarding tasks, including device setup.
• Perform cabling, power checks, desk moves and basic rack/closet inspections.
• Maintain ticketing and ITSM processes, incident logging and escalation.
• Provide VIP/executive user support on-site with professional communication.
