Job summary

Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking an onsite Tech Support Admin to support Department of Veterans' Affairs facilities in Dayton, OH. The role requires a Technical Bachelor's Degree and involves imaging, OS patching, device provisioning, and end-user support.

You will work 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with potential for weekend hours and the 4-6 week clearance process. Start date is 4-6 weeks after offer.

Qualifications

• Technical bachelor's degree required.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing and change tracking.
• Experience with IT asset provisioning and patch management.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting for IT customers.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues using ServiceNow; document changes and tasks.
• Provision endpoints (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices); perform imaging and moves/changes.
• Install OS patches/upgrades and deploy COTS software.
• Provide user management support with elevated privileges as needed.
• Use logs and admin tools to diagnose problems and reconfigure or replace components.
• Monitor systems to identify risks and recommend expansions or revisions.
• Use SCOM to troubleshoot performance and deploy software packages.
• Perform inventory and asset management tasks; assist with site logistics and equipment transport.
• Occasionally assist with door access control and moving IT equipment up to 25 pounds.
