Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support across office and manufacturing operations in Milwaukee. You will be the primary IT contact, handling helpdesk requests, onboarding, and basic network issues while also supporting End-user devices and Workday access.

The role requires strong customer service, Windows/M365 proficiency, and AD administration in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1-4+ years of IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or related experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide technical support to a diverse workforce in both office and manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of: Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory administration, PC hardware troubleshooting
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk support via tickets, phone, email, and walk-up requests in a fast-paced environment
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, assist with password resets, MFA, VPN, Outlook support, and printer/scanner issues
• Image, deploy, rebuild, and maintain laptops/desktops; manage Active Directory tasks; support Workday access and functional issues
• Assist manufacturing floor techs with label printers, handheld devices, and production terminals
