This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, supporting end users, and working in a fast-paced environment where technology directly impacts business operations. As an IT Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees requiring technical assistance while also taking ownership of more advanced troubleshooting, system administration tasks, and endpoint support. The position requires strong customer service skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to support a diverse workforce within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Level 1 SupportRespond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, emails, and walk-up support requestsTroubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issuesAssist users with: Password resets and account unlocks, Outlook and email support, VPN and multi-factor authentication (MFA) access, Network drive mapping, Printer and scanner issuesProvide day-to-day technical assistance to office and production employeesUnbox, inventory, tag, and prepare hardware for deploymentSet up computers, peripherals, and workstations for new hiresAssist with employee onboarding and technology orientationLevel 2 SupportTroubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues involving: Windows 10 and Windows 11, Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint, Desktop and laptop hardware, software installation, configuration, and updatesImage, deploy, rebuild, and maintain laptops and desktop computersPerform basic network troubleshooting involving connectivity, switch ports, and wireless networkingSupport manufacturing floor technology including: Label printers, Handheld devices, Production terminals and workstationsManage Active Directory tasks including: User account maintenance, Security group access, Workstation domain joins, User changes and permissionsSupport and troubleshoot end-user access and functionality within business systems, including WorkdayDocument resolutions, procedures, and common support issues to improve team knowledge and efficiencyRequired Skills:1-4+ years of IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or related experienceBilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to provide technical support to a diverse workforce in both office and manufacturing environmentsStrong knowledge of: Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, Active Directory administration, PC hardware troubleshootingStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve technical issuesExcellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting users within Workday, including account access, user support, troubleshooting, and basic administration activitiesExperience with endpoint management solutions such as Intune, PDQ Deploy, SCCM, or similar toolsBasic PowerShell scripting knowledgeFamiliarity with networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IPExperience supporting technology in a manufacturing environmentCompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or other relevant IT certifications
