Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking an IT Specialist to join the End User Services team in Fremont, CA. This onsite, 12-month temporary assignment focuses on desktop and mobile device support, software/hardware troubleshooting, and user assistance across campus.

The role demands strong customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with 2+ years of desktop support experience preferred. Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and conference room tech familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

2+ years of direct customer-facing desktop support experience.
Associate degree or equivalent in CS/IT.
Experience with Windows 7/10/11 and macOS; iOS/Android familiarity."
Knowledge of Active Directory and BitLocker; familiarity with security basics.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite end-user technical support at the Fremont campus.
Configure, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support workstations, printers, mobile devices, phones, and conference room tech.
Install, configure, and repair Windows and Mac OS hardware/software issues.
Manage desktop environment according to established standards and procedures.
Document resolutions and close tickets in the ticketing system.
Provide remote support using Bomgar and assist with incident management in Freshservice.
Support conference room technology including projectors, displays, Teams, and Zoom.
Follow established IT processes and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
