Job summary

Eis group usa in San Francisco is seeking a solution-focused Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on onsite IT support for employees and equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and deploy computers, printers, and network devices while ensuring reliable systems and clear communication with users.

The role requires an Associate degree in IT or related field, with a Bachelor's degree preferred, and experience in desktop support or help desk environments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology or related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline strongly preferred.
• Experience as Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring, installing, upgrading and maintaining computers and related equipment.
• Familiarity with TeamViewer or other remote-support platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on onsite technical support for employees and IT equipment.
• Receive, document, prioritize and resolve hardware and software requests.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, network, and connectivity issues.
• Configure and deploy new computers, routers, modems, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain OS and business applications.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs of existing IT installations.
• Provide both onsite and remote technical assistance when required.
