Job summary

HCLTech is hiring an Onsite Support Technician to join our Field Service Operations team in the United States. You will provide desk side and on-site problem resolution, install and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, and offer superior end-user support with a focus on timeliness.

You will collaborate with Audio Visual, Network and Server teams, manage tickets, perform security/compliance tasks, and assist with on-site events and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in service delivery and end-user hardware/software configuration.
• Experience with Windows OS, MS Office, VPN, and mobile devices.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.
• Willing to travel to remote sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face, on-site end-user support and problem resolution.
• Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobiles, and peripherals.
• Manage tickets and ensure resolution within SLA.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty repair or replacement.
• Assist network/AV/servers teams as needed.
• Support IT events and disaster recovery readiness.
