Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Field Services Engineer in Orlando to deliver end-user support across desktop, mobile, and workplace tech. You will provide hands-on and remote assistance, manage endpoint devices, support collaboration tools, and partner with security and IT teams to keep a secure, reliable environment.

You’ll work on onboarding, device provisioning, and OS/app deployment across Windows and macOS, with on-call rotations and onsite responsibilities in Orlando, FL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience providing Deskside Support, Field Services, End User Computing, or Desktop Support within an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with MDM and endpoint management platforms including Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and SCCM.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration, user account management, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS endpoints, mobile devices, printers, and workplace peripherals.
• Familiarity with device provisioning and deployment methodologies (PXE, Autopilot, endpoint imaging).
• Experience leveraging remote support tools and ticketing systems to diagnose, prioritize, and resolve technical issues.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills; ability to work across teams and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end users through phone, email, remote support tools, and in-person assistance; ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Support onboarding activities—account creation, device provisioning, workstation setup, software installation.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot mobile devices using Intune and Jamf while ensuring security compliance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Support conference room technologies, video conferencing, projectors, displays, and AV equipment.
• Install and upgrade OS, apps, drivers across Windows and macOS.
• Perform hardware/software upgrades and lifecycle refreshes.
• Use IT Asset Management processes to track assets from procurement to retirement.
• Maintain ServiceNow CMDB records and document incidents/resolutions.
