Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Onsite IT Support specialist at our Towson, MD site. You will serve as the Face of IT, providing deskside and OT-related support for hardware, software, printers, scanners, and conference room systems.

You will triage incidents, manage ServiceNow tickets, coordinate with vendors, perform health checks, maintain data closets, and ensure SLA adherence while minimizing downtime and keeping users productive.

Qualifications

Minimum 7yrs hands on dedicated experience as deskside/Onsite support/local IT engineer.
Strong Microsoft OS installation (Win10 / MAC OS X) and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in Hands & feet Support for Network and Datacentre Equipment/Devices.
Strong desktop support knowledge including hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Knowledge of OT technology such as PLCs and plant IT.
Experience with managed print services and RF scanners (e.g., Zebra printers).
Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange Mailboxes, and related tools.

Responsibilities

Provide deskside/onsite IT support for hardware and software.
Act as the Face of IT at the site and coordinate with the broader HCLTech team to minimise downtime.
Handle tickets/requests in ServiceNow and drive issue resolution.
Perform daily health checks on critical IT infrastructure.
Maintain data closets and asset inventory; ensure SLAs are met.
