Job summary

College of Nursing is seeking an Onsite IT Support Technician to provide frontline technical assistance to faculty, staff and students at 514 Main Street, Columbia. You will troubleshoot computers, software, peripherals, classroom technology, and audiovisual tools, and assist with onboarding and routine maintenance.

Responsibilities include classroom AV support, device deployment, and coordinating with College IT staff on projects and hardware refreshes.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and some IT support experience.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
Ability to troubleshoot common computer and technology problems.
Familiarity with Windows environments.

Responsibilities

Provides frontline technical support to faculty, staff, and students in person, remotely, and via service-request processes.
Assists with classroom, conference-room, and audiovisual technologies and related equipment.
Supports endpoint and device provisioning, deployment, and maintenance.
Assists with technology projects, equipment deployments, inventory, and documentation.
