Job summary

Microsoft is seeking a skilled IT Support and Procurement Specialist for a contract role in Redmond, WA. The position focuses on IT infrastructure, hardware procurement, and collaboration with studio leadership to support game development. Onsite, 9-month assignment, full-time hours.

Responsibilities include inventory management, user account administration, and documentation while aligning with Microsoft standards. Prior studio experience is a plus, and a IT degree or certs are beneficial.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT experience with at least 2 years in procurement.
• 3+ years hands-on with Azure Active Directory and Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years scripting in Python, PowerShell or C#.
• Strong technical documentation practices.
• Game development studio experience is a bonus.
• Degree in IT or related field preferred; Microsoft certs are assets.
• Proficiency with Azure AD and Azure DevOps.
• Scripting in Python required; C# or PowerShell is a plus.
• Experience supporting multiple operating systems.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage hardware inventory and procurement.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware/software environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced studio.

Responsibilities

• Work with Studio Management to understand IT-related needs.
• Procure, setup, and recycle PC hardware.
• Field requests for IT services, repairs, upgrades, and inquiries.
• Manage PC and parts inventory.
• Handle user account management and administration.
• Provide IT support to partner teams involved in game creation.
• Coordinate with larger IT teams on best practices.
• Perform lab work for automated testing.
• Maintain documentation across IT processes and workflows.
• Participate in team meetings and project work.
