Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Deskside Support Engineer to provide on-site desktop support at Elkton, VA. Responsibilities include IMAC, break-fix, imaging, and assisting users across the enterprise. The role also entails training junior staff and supporting shop-floor devices as needed.

The candidate will join a team delivering end-user IT services, with a structured benefits package and a discretionary annual incentive program based on performance.

Qualifications

• Provide Install Move Add Change (IMAC), Break-Fix and end user support activities.
• Stage Build and Image systems with standard client image (aka eCore).
• Complete special projects as requested by Customer.
• Provides technical training to more junior employees.
• Perform data collection/preservation activities as they relate to migrations and/or eDiscovery.
• Where required, provide support for the Manufacturing "Shop Floor'' handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices.
