Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Desktop Support Technician to join our team in Red Bank, New Jersey. The role delivers managed client services including IMAC, Break Fix, and Desk Side Support, blending strong technical skills with customer service.

Responsibilities include on-site support at the client's facility, on-call rotation, and occasional weekend work. A flu vaccination may be required. This position supports Windows workstations, peripherals, and Ivanti LANDesk imaging.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of desktop support experience.
Hands-on with workstation hardware and software installation.
Experience with Windows OS, MS Office, antivirus, and browsers.

Responsibilities

Perform moderate-to-complicated configuration and repair of desktop/notebook equipment and peripherals.
Provide onsite customer service regarding computing functionality via in person, phone, email, or video conferences.
Advise customers on preventive maintenance and configurations impacting performance.
Diagnose and resolve product performance problems using advanced tools and knowledge.
Perform break/fix repairs on desktops/laptops, printers, and peripherals.
IMAC installations and maintenance including hardware, software and consumables.
Manage tickets and workload using the client ticketing system.
Physically lift and move hardware as needed.
