Job summary

New Charter is seeking an Onsite IT Support Engineer to be the go-to IT resource at the client’s office, providing day-to-day technical support for workstations, software, basic networking, and Microsoft 365 environments. This role blends face-to-face user support with collaboration with remote engineers, requiring strong communication and a white-glove service mindset.

You’ll join a larger MSP team, working onsite and coordinating with colleagues to resolve issues and ensure reliable technology

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT support experience (preferably in an MSP or corporate environment).
• Experience with Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and basic Active Directory tasks.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (IP addressing, Wi‑Fi, VPNs, DNS).
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to explain IT solutions to non-technical users.
• Experience working with C-Suite executives.
• A proactive and resourceful mindset with a passion for technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for users at the client’s HQ office.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktop/laptop issues, software applications, and basic networking.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 account setup, email issues, and cloud-based applications.
• Support printers, peripherals, and conference room technology.
• Handle basic network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues).
• Collaborate with senior engineers for escalations and complex issues.
• Document all work performed in the IT ticketing system.
• Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring users feel supported and valued.
