Job summary

Accenture Flex seeks an on-site Workplace Engineer to provide end-user IT support and smart hands for data center tasks in Houston, TX. You’ll manage PCs, conferencing, printing, and device setup, while maintaining documentation and CMDB records.

This role emphasizes customer focus and hands-on technical growth within a large enterprise. Responsibilities include supporting end users, equipment, and networks, with opportunities to collaborate with vendors and other teams, in a hub-and-spoke model

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• 6 months of experience with technical troubleshooting.
• Driver’s License required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for end users and workplace technologies.
• Support PCs, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and workplace equipment.
• Assist with video conferencing systems, monitors, printers, phones, and projectors.
• Install, set up, and maintain devices and standard software (Windows, Microsoft 365, iOS).
• Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Provide friendly, customer focused support to end users.
• Smart Hands and Infrastructure Support for servers, network devices, and site equipment under remote guidance.
• Assist with cabling, patching, and basic rack activities.
• Follow technical documentation and procedures.
• Share feedback to help improve processes and work with vendors.
