Job summary

nVent is seeking an IT Support Specialist to serve as the primary onsite IT resource for our offices. You’ll deliver hands-on end-user support, conference room tech, device lifecycle management, and Smart Hands for infrastructure, collaborating with Service Desk, Network, and Security teams.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in IT (or equivalent), 3+ years in corporate IT support, and experience supporting 100+ employee offices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of IT support in a corporate environment.
• Experience supporting business offices with 100+ employees.
• Strong desktop and mobile device troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, Entra ID/Active Directory, Networking fundamentals, mobile device support, printer and peripheral support, conference room technologies.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 2 end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, relocations, and workstation setups.
• Act as the primary onsite IT contact for employees and business leaders.
• Provide onsite Smart Hands infrastructure support for applications, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Troubleshoot conference room and collaboration technologies, including Teams Rooms.
• Manage incidents and service requests within established SLAs and document resolutions.
