Omm IT Solutions in Washington, DC, is seeking two Journeyman Computer Support Specialists for a 100% onsite role. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, ~40 hours/week. Must be a U.S.

citizen, permanent resident, or H1B visa holder, and pass FBI background checks and fingerprinting at U.S. Capitol Police HQ. The Client’s IT Unit delivers frontline technical support to ~275 professionals, handling 7–9 tickets daily, with work spanning Windows/macOS, MDM, Entra ID/AD, and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or closely related field.
• CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, Apple Certified IT Professional, AWS Practitioner or higher, ITIL Foundation, or SysOps Administrator.
• Experience administering Windows and macOS in enterprise environments with security baselines.
• Experience using endpoint management platforms to deploy software and enforce policies.
• Strong IAM, MFA, and AWS-integrated identity skills.
• Ability to analyze logs and resolve authentication/connectivity issues.
• Cloud/hybrid environment experience including AWS-hosted resources.
• Excellent customer service, prioritization, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline IT support to ~275 staff via help desk system.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS.
• Image, configure, and validate desktops and mobile devices with security baselines.
• Manage iOS/Android devices in MDM platforms and train users.
• Administer Entra ID/Active Directory, GPOs, and identity lifecycles.
• Support macOS/iOS administration including FileVault and profiles.
• Provide on-call office support and assist with conference room tech.
• Mentor Level I technicians and document SOPs.
• Support security standards, incident response, and patch cycles.
• Assist vulnerability remediation and Nessus findings.
