Job summary

Grand Consulting in Des Moines, IA seeks a Client Solutions Specialist to visit client offices, audit hardware and IT environments, and build quotes for account managers. You’ll gain hands-on experience with commercial hardware across diverse industries and have a path into Account Management or Technical Support.

Ideal candidates are tech-literate, detail-oriented, and customer-friendly, with a drive to learn and grow within a small, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Live in the Greater Des Moines Area
• Available to work 40 hours a week
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Visit client offices to audit hardware, network setup, and IT environment
• Create quotes for workstations, laptops, network gear, servers, backups
• Customize solutions based on client needs and industry
• Partner with Account Managers to provide pricing and tech details
• Update CRM notes and keep quotes current
• Maintain detailed records of client infrastructure
• Assist with basic on-site support like setup or rebooting devices
• Interact with clients by phone, email, and in person
