Job summary
Blue Mantis seeks a seasoned Network Systems Engineer to support enterprise networks and data centers, ensuring high availability and game-day readiness. You will manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments while coupling on-prem with cloud workloads.
Responsibilities include cloud operations in AWS/Azure/O365, VMware virtualization, and network monitoring with SolarWinds and DataDog. Expect weekend/holiday coverage and a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience with multisite environments and complex outages.
- CCNA/CCNP ITIL or cloud certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Server Administration across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
- Cloud Operations including AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads.
- VMware-based virtualization management for scalable, available infra.
- Monitor systems with SolarWinds and DataDog to assure performance.
- Lead incident resolution and SLA adherence for network issues.
- Document topology and runbooks for on-call readiness.
