Job summary

Institute for Community Living Inc. in New York, NY is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to deploy, monitor, and maintain our IT network and voice services across NYC locations.

Responsibilities include tier 1-2 support, asset management, and on-call rotation; the role requires on-site work and collaboration with the IT team to enforce security and operational policies. We offer growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• Experience: Managing Microsoft Active Directory networks, firewalls, switches, WAPs and SDWANs, and Enterprise-level VoIP solutions
• Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+ or other technical trade certification

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 1 and 2 IT support by phone, online and in-person visits to NYC area locations
• Follow established procedures to resolve common IT support requests
• Provision and prepare IT equipment for staff
• Maintain IT records, including asset management
• Participate in on-call after-hours rotation
• Communicate with staff on IT changes and incidents
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Stay current with technology trends and develop technical skills
• Contribute to IT policies and procedures
• Manage IT projects as assigned by supervisor
