Job summary

Blue Eagle Credit Union in Salem, VA is seeking a Technology Support Specialist I to provide comprehensive helpdesk support as the primary point of contact for monitoring, triaging, and resolving technical issues. You will troubleshoot hardware and software, route complex problems to the right teams, and assist with Active Directory tasks.

This is an in-person role located at our Salem office and includes configuring and deploying workstations, documenting troubleshooting steps and SOPs, and

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Associate degree in Information Technology or related field from an accredited college/university, or equivalent technical work or experience in the credit union industry
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking concepts, LAN and WAN topologies, Wireless Technologies, and Firewall concepts
• Working knowledge of all Windows and Linux Operating Systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
• Knowledge of Virtual Hypervisor environments

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive helpdesk support as the primary point of contact to monitor, triage, and resolve technical issues across multiple channels
• Troubleshoot hardware and software, route complex issues to appropriate team members
• Configure and deploy workstations and support Active Directory tasks
• Document troubleshooting efforts and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Participate in system migrations and collaborate with vendors and teammates
