Job summary

Mississippi Department of Archives & History (MDAH) is seeking an intermediate Client Support Technician to join the Client Support Services team in Jackson, MS. This on-site role covers hardware, software, and end-user support across desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, and mobile devices within the MDAH network environment.

You will handle onboarding, identity management in Azure/AD, asset inventory, and ticketing with standard service desk tools.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years hands-on IT support or help desk experience.
• Proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Office 365 troubleshooting.
• Experience with Active Directory/Azure AD user provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair desktop PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, patch Windows and Office 365.
• Log and resolve tickets using service desk software.
• Set up workstations and manage user accounts in Azure/AD.
• Maintain hardware inventory records and software licenses.
• Escalate complex issues to senior admins.
