Job summary

NRI North America is seeking an IT Governance and Operations Analyst to join our professional services team for on-site support across Suffolk County school districts. You will develop technical policy, map access ownership, and ensure policy compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include documenting SOPs, enforcing security controls (AUP, DRP, IRP), and supporting MFA deployments. On-site, five days weekly, with potential site-to-site travel across North America.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of IT Operations, IT Security, or GRC Analyst experience.
• Experience supporting technical projects with requirements gathering and milestones.
• Exceptional technical writing for SOPs, policies and workflows.
• Familiarity with security/compliance standards such as the NIST CSF.
• Administrative experience with cloud platforms, identity management, and SaaS apps.
• Knowledge of MFA platforms and identity protocols.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with senior technical leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical policy and compliance documentation aligned with NIST frameworks.
• Author and enforce core policies such as AUP, DRP, IRP, IT Safety Plans, password policies, and device governance.
• Document onboarding and offboarding procedures for staff and technicians.
• Build and maintain a software/user/ownership chart mapping access across platforms.
• Document workflows and SOPs to support consistent service delivery.
• Assist with MFA rollout, tracking, and enforcement.
• Conduct routine user access audits across applications and portals.
• Identify gaps in provisioning, access controls, and policy compliance; remediate risks.
• Support project planning, requirements gathering, and scope definition.
• Track milestones and timelines, informing key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with leadership on daily operations and documentation maintenance.
