Job summary

NRI North America is looking for a qualified Computer Support Technician to join our professional services team that provides onsite support at school districts in Nassau County. This is a full-time opportunity that will be onsite 5 days per week and require travel between various sites throughout the day.

The role demands an Associate's degree in IT or related field and 1–3 years of IT support experience, with proficiency in Windows and macOS.

Qualifications

1–3 years IT support experience or related role.
Strong understanding of computer systems and devices.
Troubleshoot hardware and software in Windows and macOS environments.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to help desk tickets and assist users with hardware and software issues.
Diagnose and resolve problems with computers, printers, network connectivity and IT equipment.
Set up and configure computers, peripherals, and software for new and existing users.
Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure security and performance.
Maintain records of support requests, resolutions, and inventory of IT assets.
