Job summary

CTS is seeking a Field Services Technician in the South Bronx with travel across the New York metro area. You will perform scheduled and dispatch field visits, delivering on-site troubleshooting and strong customer service to CTS clients and systems.

As an individual contributor, you will work with internal teams and vendors, install and configure workstations, servers, and cloud apps, and ensure proper maintenance and documentation per SLAs.

Qualifications

• Experience in WAN/LAN networking, including routing, switching, security, and load balancing.
• Experience in WLAN technologies including Meraki, UniFi, and Cisco.
• Experience with Windows Server/Desktops and Apple ecosystem.
• Experience with PBX systems (Grandstream or similar).
• Experience with Android, iOS, G Suite and Office365.
• Experience with MSP tools: ConnectWise, Addigy, Ninja, ScreenConnect, PRTG, IT Glue.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and adaptability.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with service delivery teams and be available for daily on-site client visits.
• Provide on-site installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of workstation, server, and cloud apps.
• Respond to service requests and incidents per SLAs and document work.
• Track time and activities in ConnectWise Manage.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and client contacts.
• Perform on-site recurring maintenance at client sites.
• Support internal/client-facing projects as needed.
• Complete tasks assigned by dispatcher or supervisor.
