Job summary

Applied Connective is seeking a motivated IT Field Services Technician to join our Columbus, NE team. The role involves visiting client sites to set up computers, printers, and mobile devices, performing hardware replacements, and assisting with office moves.

You’ll verify operations, document actions, and keep clients informed throughout the process. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service and troubleshooting skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and professional verbal and written communication.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, plus a basic understanding of business technology.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and accurate, complete documentation.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client locations.
• Ability to safely lift and install equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Field service or onsite IT support experience preferred.
• Experience with workstation setups, hardware replacements, office moves, or technology refresh projects preferred.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and network connectivity preferred.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client offices to set up computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Handle hardware replacements and office moves, and solve technology issues in person.
• Verify functionality before leaving, document work, and keep clients and teammates updated.
• Support both remote and onsite client needs with a focus on client satisfaction.
