Job summary

Akumin is seeking a Field Support Technician for full-time, onsite headquarters-based IT support at the Plantation, FL location. You will provide direct, hands-on technical assistance for local staff and peripherals, while also managing the centralized ticket queue for nationwide offices.

Work with Service Desk, Engineering, and Management to ensure high system uptime, effective troubleshooting, and secure access across multiple sites. Travel may be required for remote locations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field, or 3 years of service desk experience.
• Experience managing a high-volume call queue and ticketing system.
• Intermediate knowledge of Citrix, Active Directory, Okta MFA, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to support remote users.
• Must be able to report to the office full-time.
• Capable to self-manage and prioritize a high volume of tickets.
• 100% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Main Office Support: on-site IT support for the corporate headquarters.
• National Remote Support & Queue Management: handle tickets remotely for offices nationwide.
• Local On-Site Support: travel to neighboring offices for hands-on assistance.
• Clinical & Corporate Systems Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve system issues.
• System Administration & Onboarding: user accounts and security access management.
• Vendor & Team Collaboration: coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
• Administration & Operations: monitor uptime and asset tracking.
