Job summary

Akumin Inc. seeks a Field Support Technician to deploy, support, and maintain IT solutions across clinical and radiology environments from our Plantation HQ.

You will work with Service Desk, Engineering, and Management to troubleshoot issues, coordinate with OEMs and vendors, and ensure system uptime at multiple sites. Responsibilities include assisting with clinical system deployments, providing status updates, and helping plan and train staff on automated systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 3 years of IT service desk experience.
• A+ certification or equivalent knowledge considered.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Service Desk, Engineering and Management on IT projects.
• Deploy, support, and maintain IT solutions for clinical and radiology systems.
• Assist with design input for site readiness and connectivity.
• Coordinate with vendors, on-site facilities, and field teams.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and document resolutions.
