Job summary

InnovAge is seeking an IT Field Support Specialist I to provide advanced onsite technical support for healthcare teams at remote centers. You will manage incidents, troubleshoot complex issues, and serve as the local IT point of contact for the center.

This role requires strong self-management, prioritization, and the ability to work autonomously, with daily travel to nearby centers and collaboration with remote IT teams to maintain network and infrastructure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years IT support, onsite preferred.
• Hands-on with ticketing platforms and in-person support.
• Strong ITIL knowledge and best practices.
• Experience collaborating with remote IT teams as onsite hands.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support and resolve complex issues for healthcare teams at remote centers.
• Act as local IT contact for the center, managing tasks independently.
• Build positive relationships with onsite staff to ensure IT needs are met.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams as onsite hands for networking/infrastructure.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workloads to meet center demands.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
• Use tools to track, resolve, and report IT issues to the broader team.
• Document and update knowledge base articles and procedures.
• Identify process improvements for service delivery.
• Travel daily to different centers within the region.
