Job summary

SIMNET is seeking an Onsite IT Support Analyst to ensure smooth operations of computer systems in a healthcare setting. This 100% onsite role requires prior IT support experience in healthcare and involves hands-on desktop, hardware, and peripheral support.

You will handle end-user requests, maintain SLAs, deploy software, and troubleshoot using remote and on-site tools. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in computer science or related field.
• 1+ years of solid IT help desk experience, MSP/VAR background is a plus.
• MSCE, MCE or MCP certifications or equivalent within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first contact support to the service desk via phone, portal, email, and chat.
• Prioritize incidents and requests to meet defined SLAs.
• Escalate incidents with accurate documentation to technicians when needed.
• Document the service desk process from initial contact to final resolution.
• Deploy pre-packaged software using standard distribution tools.
• Use remote tools for troubleshooting and provide on-site fixes when required.
• Research solutions using internal and external knowledge bases.
• Install antivirus software and keep virus definitions up to date.
• Perform preventive maintenance on workstations and peripherals.
• Understand basic VoIP principles and apply OS patches/upgrades.
