Job summary

Impact Networking is seeking an IT Field Engineer (FSE) to perform onsite service, onboarding, and project execution at client locations. You will diagnose and resolve issues across server, virtualization, and cloud environments while ensuring exceptional customer experience.

The role requires strong communication, real‑world IT experience, and the ability to work with internal teams to deliver reliable IT operations. Travel to local client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of IT field service experience
• Fundamental Server Administration knowledge
• Experience with Windows Server 2012-2025
• Active Directory management and maintenance
• DNS, DHCP, and Remote Desktop Services
• Understanding of virtualization (VMware/Hyper‑V)
• Networking with firewalls, switches, and related tech
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki/HP hardware
• Office 365, Azure familiarity
• RMM tools such as N‑Able, Kaseya, LabTech
• ITIL and Service Management knowledge
• HaloPSA Platform knowledge
• Experience with incident, change, and information requests workflows
• Strong communication and customer-service focus

Responsibilities

• Engage in onsite discovery and data gathering for BTAs
• Provide onsite IT support and project execution at client locations
• Configure and troubleshoot Windows Server, Hyper‑V, VMware, Exchange, SharePoint, and cloud services
• Coordinate with Service Desk to implement client management plans
• Document and resolve issues in Impact’s ticket system
• Collaborate with TOC to resolve incidents and follow problem management
• Maintain relationships with customers and vendors
• Participate in ongoing training and certifications
• Ensure documentation of network status and activities
