Job summary

Impact Networking in Cleveland is seeking an IT Field Engineer to deliver onsite IT service, support, and project execution for client environments.

The role requires traveling to client sites, collaborating with internal teams to implement core networking, server, and cloud solutions such as Office 365 and Azure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of IT field service experience.
• Experience with Windows Server 2012–2025.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and remote desktop services.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and storage (SAN/NAS).
• Proven customer-service focus and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite IT service, maintenance, and project execution at client locations.
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing client IT operations across Office 365, Azure, and G-Suite.
• Set up and troubleshoot Windows Server, Hyper-V, VMware, Exchange, SharePoint, and networks.
• Collaborate with Service Desk and TOC to document issues and resolve incidents.
• Develop and execute client management and maintenance plans; document monthly activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and LoB applications to meet technical requirements.
• Pursue manufacturer certifications and ongoing training.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and engineers through exemplary service.
