Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, Inc., seeks an Asset Management Technician to join the team onsite in Plano, TX to manage inventory and provide end-user support for printers, monitors, and related assets.

The role involves registering assets, managing printer servers and IP addresses, coordinating repairs, and facilitating disposal of aged equipment while maintaining accurate records and delivering responsive user support.

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Excel for database management, creating charts and pivot tables.
• Experience using ticketing system such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc. to track and monitor assets.
• Good communication and customer support skills.
• Must be organized / detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory room while registering newly received printers, monitors, accessories with asset tags into the system
• Manage printer servers and IP addresses for printers
• Process defective printers and monitors repairs through a repair service vendor
• Disposal of aged printers / monitors/ accessories through disposal vendor, and remove asset from the client database
• Provide phone and email user support
• Deployment andretrieval of printers, monitors, accessories to users onsite/remote office
• Provide support for and maintenance of printers and monitors
