Job summary

Vallen is seeking a Supply Chain Services Associate to manage on-site inventory, restock vending machines and VMI cabinets, and support the account team at customer locations.

You will ensure accurate inventory logging, assist customers with queries, and help maintain KPI-driven performance while adhering to company protocols and safety guidelines. This role offers hands-on operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years in inventory management, distribution, or similar roles.
• Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory systems, vending machines, and general supply chain operations.
• Service-oriented mindset with focus on customer requirements.
• Ability to assess inventory levels, identify issues, and provide solutions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaborative operations.

Responsibilities

• Directly restock vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs to keep inventory aligned with standards.
• Assist onsite customers with inventory or tool usage questions.
• Log and track inventory used, restocked, or requested per protocols.
• Monitor KPIs and help meet targets with the Supply Chain Services Manager.
• Identify and mitigate stockouts during fills; coordinate with managers on solutions.
• Adhere to inventory protocols, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the Manager and Account Manager on on-site operational plans.
• Stay updated on inventory tools and best practices to improve service.
