Job summary

The Supply Chain Services Associate at Vallen is a hands-on executor of inventory, vending, and VMI functions, predominantly onsite at a customer location. This role collaborates with the Supply Chain Services Manager and inside sales to ensure inventory accuracy and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include restocking vending machines, logging inventory usage, maintaining KPI alignment, and proactively addressing stockouts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ year of inventory management experience.
• Familiarity with vendor-managed inventory systems and vending machines; supply chain operations know-how.
• Strong customer focus with service mindset; analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal communication; able to work well in a team.
• Self-driven with a sense of responsibility and timely task completion.

Responsibilities

• Restock vending machines, VMI cabinets, and toolcribs to maintain target inventory levels.
• Provide on-site, first-line assistance to customer queries about inventory and tool usage.
• Log and track inventory usage, restocks, and requests per established protocols.
• Monitor KPIs and collaborate with the manager to achieve targets.
• Identify potential stockouts and coordinate with account teams to implement solutions.
• Adhere to inventory protocols, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
• Support on-site operations with continuous learning and process improvements.
