Job summary

W. W. Grainger, Indianapolis-based Inventory Specialist, is seeking a full-time team member to manage and stock customer inventories using Grainger KeepStock and crib management services.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence and precise inventory reconciliation at the customer site. You will collaborate with onsite managers to integrate direct and indirect inventory into client processes, provide quotes, and generate reports while ensuring safety and efficiency in a warehouse

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in related field or equivalent.
• Lift 25 to 60lbs.
• Willing to work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and stocks customer's inventory levels for Grainger and Non Grainger inventory through KeepStock programs and Crib management.
• Support the customer's inventory management and product procurement processes by managing the daily integration of all in-direct inventory into the customer's product processes.
• Provide excellent customer service by resolving problems promptly in a manner to retain and promote customer loyalty.
• Perform product search and select activity directly with customer in-house for end-users.
• Provide quotes based on customer request.
• Provide specialized reports requested by the customer.
