Job summary

The Onsite Merchant Support Specialist at ShipBob monitors inventory at partner fulfillment centers and serves as the sole ShipBob onsite representative, partnering with leadership to resolve merchant concerns and ensure a great merchant experience.

You will perform daily cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, conduct location checks, and report findings, while maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance policies and contributing to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICQA experience in a 3PL or warehousing environment.
• Proficient with Warehouse Management System software.
• RF Scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently on-site.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; customer/vendor contact experience preferred.
• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
• Adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk 8-10 hours; flexibility for bending and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Run daily cycle counting and inventory control per SOPs.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by Merchant Support and report significant issues.
• Perform location checks to verify quality and reconcile variances within 24 hours.
• Identify root causes of adjustments and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct audits or other inventory-related tasks as required by merchants.
• Respond to merchant-facing requests via ticketing system within a 2-hour SLA.
• Communicate updates to OSS Area Manager and Operations Manager on inventory practices.
• Present weekly performance reports during business reviews with leadership.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory policies.
• Other duties as needed.
