Job summary

Avantor is seeking an Onsite Inventory Associate in Watertown, MA. You will oversee consumables, chemicals, samples, and materials, maintain precise inventory records, process stock movements, and support cycle counts and physical inventories.

You’ll work with SAP, Citrix, and Avantor systems to ensure GMP-compliant documentation and accurate customer metrics. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years in material handling or customer service, with strong attention to

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years in material handling, inventory replenishment, or customer service.
GMP knowledge is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee consumables, chemicals, samples, and materials.
Maintain accurate inventory records and process requests for movement on/off-site.
Monitor slow-moving stock and conduct cycle counts including annual inventories.
Generate inventory reports and customer metrics.
Coordinate outbound shipments and document control tasks.
