Job summary

Avantor’s Advanced Laboratory Services inventory role in MA supports over 500 customers through meticulous stock control and safe handling of laboratory materials. Responsible for replenishment, cycle counts, barcoding, and POU inventory, you will ensure accurate records and efficient operations in a regulated environment.

The position requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year in inventory or related fields, with familiarity in SAP/Oracle/ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in inventory, material handling, warehouse operations or supply chain.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/manufacturing or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory through replenishment, cycle counts, barcoding, and POU inventory.
• Prepare, label, and distribute buffers, media, reagents and lab supplies per SOPs.
• Maintain inventory records using ERP systems and ensure accuracy.
• Safely handle hazardous materials and supervise proper waste practices.
• Assist with daily lab operations and cross-functional support.
