Job summary

Grainger is seeking an Services Representative (OSR) to support assigned customers by managing their inventory, delivering outstanding service, and supporting KeepStock programs. This on-site role covers multiple customer locations around Mapleton, IL.

You will stock and receive products, resolve issues promptly, follow routing plans, identify productivity improvements, and work with sales partners to expand Grainger solutions. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 25–60 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and/ or work in difficult positions.
• Valid driver's license in State of residence.
• Must carry required levels of automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations
• Stock purchased product at customer sites and manage stock levels
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain loyalty
• Follow routing software to maintain route guides
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and cycle time
• Follow safety and inspection requirements of the facility
• Create new orders by engaging with customers to identify needs
• Probe for customer needs during visits and work with sales to expand Grainger offerings
