Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. in Hartford, CT is hiring an On-Site Service Representative (Full Time) to support customers by stocking inventory, delivering excellent service, and driving account growth through KeepStock programs.

The OSR will work with partners to implement sales strategies and help customers understand Grainger’s MRO solutions. This full-time role requires prior selling or service experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 25 to 60 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock purchased product at customer locations and monitor stock levels.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain loyalty.
• Follow routing software to maintain route guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the site.
• Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
• Probe for customer needs during site visits and collaborate with sales partners.
