Job summary

Grainger in Hartford, CT is hiring a full-time On-Site Service Representative. You will support customers by managing inventory, stocking products, and promoting Grainger solutions during site visits.

As OSR, you will route efficiently, resolve issues, and identify opportunities to improve productivity while ensuring safety and compliance. The role requires strong customer service, sales mindset, and a valid driver's license. On-site work with significant interaction across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a selling or service environment is required.
• Customer service and sales orientation are essential.
• Ability to collaborate and solve problems with teams.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations, ensure stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
• Follow designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided.
• Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
• Probes for customer needs during each site visit and works with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
