Job summary

ShipBob Bolingbrook, IL is seeking an onsite Merchant Support Specialist to monitor inventory at partner fulfillment centers. You will work with leadership to resolve merchant concerns and ensure accurate counts, quality checks, and timely updates.

Responsibilities include daily cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, 24-hour reconciliations, audits, and timely merchant ticket responses. You will help improve inventory practices and report performance weekly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICQA in a 3PL/warehouse setting.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management System software.
• Experience using an RF Scanner is preferred.
• Ability to work independently on-site.
• Strong written and verbal communication; customer/vendor interaction preferred.
• Excellent time management and prioritization.
• Attention to detail and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Run daily cycle counting and inventory control per SOPs.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report significant issues.
• Perform physical location checks and reconcile variances within 24 hours.
• Determine root cause of adjustments and lead corrective actions.
• Conduct audits at merchants' requests.
• Respond to merchant-related requests via ticketing system within 2 hours.
• Flag inventory concerns to leadership to identify process improvements.
• Communicate updates to OSS Area Manager and operations leadership.
• Present weekly performance reports to partner fulfillment center leaders.
• Comply with food safety and regulatory policies and maintain product integrity.
